The LONG weekend!

Stephanie and I went to the circus on Saturday. We went with her uncle and his girlfriend, it was so much fun! I got freaked out when the person went to the roof and jumped on the rope, then he started swinging and did back flips when he wasn't even attached to anything! It was also fun when we got a elephant ride! After it was done witch was at 9:30 we went to A&W! Then we went back to Stephanie's house.

Twin Day!

Today, May 7th was twin day! I was twins with Stephanie. We wore pink socks, black long pants, purple lace shirt, and a awesome Triple Flip top. We looked awesome! It was an awesome day. We took 5 pictures of us! We were only suppost to take one but we took 5!

Who Is Mrs. Wilson?

Our class went to the Mae Wilson Theatre on Thursday, April 23rd.
We got a tour Mickey and Maude.
They dressed up like clowns, Mickey was acting like other people too.
They showed us the whole theatre witch was cool for me because I go there to dance every year and I never knew about all that.
They told us why the green room is called the green room.
They also showed us the stage and told us historical facts.
Maude was all about historical facts and Mickey was all goofy.
Its called the Mae Wilson because Larry Wilson donated a large about of money and asked in favor to name it after his mama.
It was a fun day and I hope you get to go there some day.

Earth Day

Today is Earth Day! Our school is going to support Earth Day by picking up garbage outside.
You can also help support helping the Earth clean and beautiful.

TeaCup Puppy!

I might be getting a teacup puppy! I want one so bad because they are so cute, they are so fuzzy and I really want one! I love puppies, but my mom wants one that stays small. I really want and I hope i do get one! I want a yorkie. I cant wait to get one!

Back to.... STEPHANIE AND BROOKE!!

I was just in Disney World for 2 weeks, I was there for 8 days and driving 6 days. Stephanie and I broke our record of having a sleepover EVERY week! But now we will be getting back to that! I just got back yesterday! Right when I came to school Stephanie came outside and gave me a big hug! I missed her so much, but this weekend we are having a sleepover so we will be getting back to our record!

Dinsey World!

For my vacation I came to Orlando, Florida. My condo is really nice, I love it! But so far I only went to Universal Studios and today I'm going to Disney World! I'm having lots of fun but I am missing Stephanie): But then we are also going to Sea World, Blizzard Beach and other places! Blizzard Beach was so much fun! There were lots of water slides and fun stuff! I ad lots of fun there.

Winter Break/ Missing Stephanie/ Dinsey World!

This winter break Stephanie and I had three sleepovers and went swimming twice! Then she left on the 21st of February, while I went to school being a alone. But when she gets back we only get to see each other for 1 day:(. Valentine's Dance!

Yesterday was our school's Valentine dance! It was Thursday the 12th. Stephanie came to my house and we got ready to go. It started at 7 and ended at 9! It was 2 hours of awesomeness! Willy Wonka

Our class (grade 5/6) went to a Willy Wonka in Regina. It was at the Conexus Arts Centre. I sat with Stephanie, my best friend of course! It would of been good if I could see, and hear better and the chairs were not so close and more comfy but otherwise it was kinda good. They had good costumes and awesome props but I couldn't see so I didn't really know. On the way back was fun! I took pictures and texted Stephanie, even though she was right beside me!!! Well otherwise that reason in Regina the day was good!!

Stephanie Broke Her Leg...Again

A couple weeks ago Stephanie and I went sledding, while we were sledding we saw this rock. It looked really fun to go down! So we tried it... It looked like we would just slide right through, but we went down and all it did was blow snow in our faces and it ran over Stephanie's leg (The one that was broken). She said it really hurt but in a couple minutes she didn't feel anything. But then two weeks later she found out she broke it again! So tonight she has to get another cast on. And now she cant do gym for three weeks, but Ill help her make it through it!

Our class ( Grade 5/6 00) go's skating every Tuesdays and Fridays! On Tuesdays when we get back, we get hot chocolate! But now we get it on Fridays too! We go at 12:45 and its about one hour to skate! Its funn! But I wish we could go skating:( Oh well, its fun and I hope we can do it next year!!

Another Weekend With Stephanie!

On Friday, January 9Th Stephanie came to my house! We finished our awesome slide-show that we made for the class and we also finished our Hot 'N C0ld video! The next day we didn't really do anything until one. At one, Stephanie and I went swimming from one to four. There
was these freaky guys that kept staring at us and this girl that was really hyper (I think) and came up to us and started talking! Once swimming was done we went and got ice-cream, it was really yummy! Next we went and got A&W then came back to my house. After we ate it we took TONS of pictures! We took about 100 and something pictures. Then my mom, dad and brother left to Regina! Stephanie and I were home with my sister and Zoe. It was storming so much that they didn't end up going so they went out to eat then came back home. :( Then Stephanie's dad FINALLY came so we left at 8:30. While we where driving there we went and got McDonald's! When we got to her house we watched "I am Legend." I fell asleep on the couch and Stephanie fell off the couch and fell asleep on the floor with her dog (Kasey)! At 3:00 in the morning I went in her bed. We had to get up at 6:10 but we couldn't hear the alarm clock so we slept in until 7:30! Once we finally woke up we had breakfast then left! On our way there we took waayy more pictures! We also stopped at Tim Horton's! Then we got kinda bored.:( It was about a two hour drive. When we finally got there, we went sledding! Then we got tired so we were waiting for the guy to bring the ski-doos, so her dad called him but he said he wasn't coming anymore... So we went car-dooing!! It was so much fun! Then they didn't want to take us anymore so we went and climbed a 200 foot mountain twice!!!!!!!!!!! It was so tiring but really super fun!!!!!!!!! Then her dad said we had to go... It sucked but on the way we got McDonald's and took more pictures! The road was REALLY bad but we made it! Then I had to go and our weekend together was over...:(

Weekend with Stephanie!

This weekend (2008, December 13) Stephanie and I had a sleepover again! I came to her house on Saturday and stayed till Sunday. On Saturday I came to her house at about 1:30, then we stayed at her house til 8:45. At 8:45 we went to a movie, 'Twilight'. It was really good! After that we went back to her house and took some pictures! While we took pictures we made up a dance! The dance was to 'Piece Of Me'! Once we started getting tired we drank Pepsi and sugar! That got us really hipper! Then we got tired again so we went in her bed and were texting each other (even though we were in the same room)! We finally fell asleep, the next morning we slept in until 10:35. So we were rushing to get ready! After we got ready we ate breakfast (cereal) then we left for the mall. When we got to the mall we first went to this photo booth thing then we went to 'Clair's' next we went to 'CD plus'! I got her something that smells good at 'Clair's'! And at 'CD plus' I got her a CD that is really good! Then we went and got a drink and food from 'A&W'! Then we got a call from our dad's that they were picking us up soon... So we quickly ran back to 'Clair's' and bought each other more gifts! Then we went to wait for our dad's to come, while we were we were being a little weird and this girl got scared to she ran away from us!! It was so funny. Then our dad's came and we had to go...

Texting Habits!

Do you have texting habits? Well this is what it's like when you do...
You always text, or phone or go on msn with your friends! My friend and I always text non-stop, and if we stop texting we go on msn and talk and if we can't go on msn then we phone each other! We can't stop talking and if we do then we miss each other! It's so fun that I can't stop, and if I do then I phone her! We have to stay in touch every weekend and every school day. And that is why we always text and phone! Once you start, there's no stopping! Well that's it about texting for now.

Interviews!!

This mouth of November our school had parent/teacher interviews. I thought it was going to go horrible, but it turns out it went great! I heard from my mom I was doing great in everything! The only thing was my reading, my teacher (Miss. Olson) said I was reading really good but I need to read harder books. Mostly everything else was good. Except for math, I get it but its a little hard so that was another thing. That was this years parent/teacher interviews I'll get back with you on next years!

Stephanie And Brooke's Sleepover!

Someday in November on a Thursday Stephanie and I had a sleepover. It rocked, it was the best sleepover ever! We made dances and video taped them. We were about to show our entire class our video but then we decided not to! We also danced for the pizza man! When the pizza came we ate it then went and took pictures and more videos. Then it was about 2 in the morning when we got hungry, so Stephanie went and got a whole bag of peas! We ate the whole bag while we watched TV. We watched TV till about 3 in the morning when her dad got back. Then we finally went to bed! The next day we kinda got bored so we went to the mall. We went to about 4 stores. The first one we went to was 'Clairs!' I bought a cell phone charm there, it is a pink big B with silver on the back and a little diamond B beside it! Stephanie got the same thing but an S! The second store we went to was 'Bluenotes.' I didn't buy anything there and either did Stephy! Next we went to get a drink, I got a strawberry slurpee. And then we went to 'Ardens.' We bought matching necklaces, we also bought headbands. The necklaces were pink on a silver chain, the headbands were different Stephanie's is pink and mine is white! After that our mom's picked us up and that weekend together was over!

Bullying Awareness Week!

Someday in November our school had a bullying awareness week. First our school had an assembly then each class took terns going to the library to have a little bullying talk. We talked about what you do if your getting bullyed, what it feels like to get bullyed, what the bully does it for and what they feel like. Its a very mean thing to do. And nobody deserves to get bullyed. If your someone getting bullyed you should tell someone you trust. A parent, a teacher a friend or anyone that you trust. Its not right to bully, and if you do bully you shouldn't feel good about yourself. It hurts and its very mean. So stand up to bullying don't stand by.

Remembrance Day Ceremony!

On November 11Th our school had a ceremony for Remembrance Day! The choir sang their songs and the cadets did their jobs witch was the color guards. The color guards brought the flags down the aisle. The choir sang about 3 songs and everybody in the audice sang O Canada! I took pictures with my camera and they were of all my class! I think it was fun and it was nice!

Yesterday, November 6Th our class the to the library and had a class with Mrs. Lothian about career Ed. It was interesting, and it let us choose three. She made us fill out this one sheet while we were on laptops. I picked dance teacher, lawyer and a gymnast. I wanted to be a dance teacher because I love dancing! I picked a lawyer because for some reason I always wanted to be a lawyer. And a gymnast because I am kinda flexible and I'm in gymnastics! I love all three jobs and I hope I get one of them!

Leaf Art!

In September our class started making these leafs and traced them then made tiny circles in them! We got to pick our own colors and stuff! Miss.Olson had to help me trace them because I could not really do it! It was fun and I just got done yesterday November 6Th! I used pink because its my favorite color! It was hard because my leafs were so big and my circles were soo little! It was so fun and I wish we do something like that again sometime!

Arthur Slade!

Today, November 4Th 2008 Arthur Slade came to visit our school! He only saw our class grade 5/6 OO, and the other grade 5 class went to see him. he showed us a slide show and told and REALLY quick story of his life. He said he was an author, a headbanger and a geek! Carley and I were trying not to laugh when he said something funny! I sat by Jenna and Carley! He came cause we were reading one of his books called 'Jolted'. This is a picture of me with my hat on so I don't get struck by lightning! All of us grade 5/6's wore tine foil hats! It was funny when the 'Times Herald' publisher wrote about our tine foil hats! And thats pretty much it. I had a great day!

Halloween Dance!

The Halloween dance was on October 31st, 2008! It was soo much fun. It was my very first dance and it rocked! We did snowballs, witch I loved! We also did solo dancing and others but I don't remember them. I loved the snowballs! I danced with Jenna- (my best friend), Carley- (my other best friend), Stephanie- (really good friend), Cortni- (good friend) and that's all for the girls I danced with! Finally I got un shy and danced with boys! I danced with Spencer- (guy in my class), Bren- (a guy in grade 7), Brendin- (guy in my class), Dakin- (a guy in grade 8), Chance- (a guy in grade 7), Jordan four times- ( a guy in grade 5)! And that's it for the boys! It was soo fun and I cant wait till the next dance!

Art Museum #2!

On October 29, 2008 our grade 5/6 class went to the art museum the second time! This time we were looking at portraits but first we looked at war brides. We watched the movie about war brides, then we looked at paintings. After that we made our very own portraits, I didn't finish mine so I finished mine today in school! I looked quite like me but in my painting my nose was too big and my eyes were too far apart!

On this weekend, October 31st, November 1st and November 2nd. I went trick-or-treater on the 31st. On the 1st I went to HSM3 witch is High School Musical 3. It was really good and I loved all the songs in it! And on the 2nd I didn`t really do anything! But it was fun and i can`t wait till next week cause it`s my birthday! And then it`s school!

Red Sky Threater!

At Lindale School we had Red Sky Theater for our guests. It was pretty good. My favorite part was when her stomach blow up with this one bag thing under her shirt then this baby came from under the bench and appeared. Halloween!

Yesterday it was Halloween! I went trick-or-treating with my brother and mom and dad. We got tons of candy together, we got two garbage bags full! It was really fun!

At our school we had people come and do different things with the students. In this picture we are dancing. Guess what kind of dancing we were doing, hip hop! Yes, we were doing hip hop. It was very entertaining. Since I'm in dancing I really liked it. First we started off with basics then we made a dance and did boys' against girls'. The girls' gave the boys' a eight out of ten, and the boys' gave the girls' a six! It was really great!

Ukulele's!

For music at school we play ukulele's. We learned the G cord and BM and the D and other ones. They make a nice sound and we usually play them so I'm getting used to them. And that's all I have to say about ukuleles!

Thanksgiving!

On Friday, October 10 our school had a Thanksgiving dinner! It was soo good. I ate with my mom, dad, sister and brother. There was corn, turkey, mashed potatoes with gravy and lots more. But anyway it was so good and cant wait till next years Thanksgiving!

Papier Mache

On Friday October 3, we made a face with papier mache. Mine was half sun half pig! Then we had to wait till they dried to paint them. On Wednesday October 8, we painted them mine was painted every color! It was really fun and I hope we do it again sometime!!

Terry Fox Run

Grade 5 Kayaking/Hiking

Before Kayaking!

Friday Sept.19 2008, the Grade 5 classes went Kayaking and Hiking. We had to choose Between hiking first and kayaking second, group 1. Or the other way around group 2. I was in group 1 with Ceanna, Caisia and other people. On the hike he told us about the fossils they found there, like... a fish fossil, a dinosaur drooping fossil and many more. When we were kayaking it was really tiring but fun! I had a great day!

Today we learned about GPS and used them to see where we were with Mr. Shareski. It was interesting to learn how to work a GPS! But we coulded use them inside because of the roof it was blocking the satalites in space but when we went outside they worked. Then we hid paperclips and tracked them down!

The Art Museum!

At the art museum I learned that every painting is unique and always has great memorys behind it! We painted two pictures and it was fun. It was the first field trip we had this school year well since the first seven days! We looked at paintings done by Dorothy Knowles. She is a really great painter. Thanks to Miss. Olson we got to go there! And I have some pictures of the good times we had!

The Best Movie I Saw This Summer...

The best movie I saw this summer was Sisterhood And The Traveling Pants 2! It was really good. It was about 4 best friends start seperating that summer. But there friendship was too far apart so they got back together! But the jeans got lost by her little sister they had to travel all the way to Greece. Aw but in the end only one was actually searching for them the other three were trying to get her and her X-boyfriend together again! Thats why I really injoyed it, it was really good.
